A3 Altis PVP server Bugs and Development

This thread will be used to announce any server changes or updates, and for bug reporting. When reporting bugs, please check the known issues list, then provide as detailed a description of the issue as possible.

KNOWN ISSUES:
Helis and possibly other vehicles can explode on entering (workaround - shoot vehicle once to 'initialize' it before entering)
Occasionally when looting items from a corpse, they can disappear. (should be fixed in next Arma 3 patch)
Getting in or out of boats can randomly kill the player
Players cannot hide or configure the HUD (a relog can help, but should be fixed in a future update)
Mission markers not showing for active missions when joining the server

1.Looks like the zombies are not gone
2. We did a mission and got a strider but looks like cookie tried to sell it and it doesn't work
3. Could I please get my admin level back ? :)

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

You no longer require the @allinarmaterrainpack, so please remove this from your launch parameters. You don't need to delete the pack itself, just remove the mod from the startup line.

i think the level of admin has changed for me also, i don't appear to have any of the map marker functions anymore :(

I have started to trim down the admin levels a bit so only the tools an admin will actually need are present. I did mistakingly remove corpse marker though, so that will be added back in. Obviously if the limited tools become an issue with actually providing help to players, I'll revisit it.

Essentially, because it's pvp, admins should be able to play more without having to constantly be helping people with lost gear, vehicles etc. There are plenty of bugs around at the moment which affect everyone, and can't be resolved until updates are released.

So far using my own playtime as a guide, the only requests I have received are for either finding a corpse, or for disappearing guns (which affect everyone). So that's the tools we all have for the moment. As I say though, if we get repeated problems we can't resolve, I'll add back the tools needed.

vehicle marker would also be useful in the same way that corpse marker would imo... if you die you'd maybe have a hard time finding your vehicle, which would be more important than your corpse imo, especially since vehicles seem rare on this map :D

tbh i just like the player marker to see what people are up to :D ... only the one on the map though.... i can do without it, i just enjoy it :D

i'll side with whatever you decide to do anyway... mainly thought to post incase it was something you didn't know happened.

The server locked up solid last night before the midnight reset and had to be manually restarted, so I'd guess the server time went out because of this.
