TV Series: Game Of Thrones

Stars Sean Bean and many other people but Sean Beans the main guy in it. Based on the book called the same thing. it's 10 episodes long and is a medievil fantasy type setting. From trailers i've seen on TV it always looked like they copied Sean Beans character from lord of the rings, but the actual series is it's own world.

I downloaded the first episode of this and it let me wanting more and more, so i downloaded the other nine and ended up wasting a whole day watching them all in a row :S.

As i say, it's taken from a highly acclaimed book, which always makes for a good TV series. When it's a film they cut alot out of it but for a TV series they can fit the whole thing in a season, and so this is where it benefits over alot of film adaptions of books.

Can't wait for the next season to start up, i never read books these days but tbh i'm tempted to start again so i can just find out what happens For that reason i give this 10 afro smileys out of 10

brilliant series

finished watching it last night and i enjoyed it

only minor thing was there was no weekly sub plot it was pretty much the 3-4 main plots running side by side.
well worth the time to watch though

yeah, cos it's based on a book you don't really get that weekly sub plot feel... more of a chapter theme.

Was disappointed how some of the main story arch's seemed to fizzle out with a plot twist, but when that happened it would almost reinvent the purpose of that story arch (hard to say without giving spoilers) and make you look forward to something else happening.

Really looking forward to the next season, but gotta keep a sharp lookout for it, because "Game of Thrones" is the name of the first book, and not the second/third/etc, so they may rename the series as well.
