CiC Community, why are you here?

1. What do you like in CiC?
2. What do you dislike?
3. What could be improved?
4. How long have you been here?
5. How often do you get on comms (not directly for a match)?
6. How is CiC seen to the newer members?
7. How could CiC grow bigger on the community side?
8. Do we want to host more servers or less or the same?
9. How much are people willing to contribute in time/special skills or money to improve CiC?
10. Discuss CiC and all of its components, from servers/bots/websites/forums/irc rooms through to the games we play. Fun nights? leagues? etc.

[Kop]

1) I like the ppl, the laughs, the teamwork and pretty much all of it really.
2)stupid league admins and other clans that cant arrange wars properly and unloyal ppl that i spend lots of time trying to make them fit in for them to screw me and us.
3)not alot really, alot of ppl like CiC and want to be in it and when they cant they try to be us, look at wotr css for example.
4)july 2006, 1st tfc match was vs BHC on 2fort and we won \o/
5)hmmmmm about 12 hours a day average
6)I hope they see it as good and realise how much i try to make them all feel welcome, im an oldie in the clan now so cant really anwser that :p
7)just keep filling all our servers tbh, make ppl feel welcome like we did yesterday and more will follow.
8)I feel we have enuff, with css servers being hard and tf2 sponsorship to get more i think we just about have enuff (until we get a bigger community that is)
9)i spend 12/15 hours a day doing CiC stuff, whether its filling a server or keeping ppl happy, special skills i dont think i really have, i dont know web stuff and i dont know gfx but i try my best to keep the clan itself happy, money as u know ned is abit of a weak point for me and yoshi(nuff said on that )
10)Well the new tigit server runs like a dream so far as does the match server, the old ice box(chiller) i dont have confidence in but hoperfully that wont be needed after the renewal date,
Your bots ned are great, i have had much fun looking at CiC's history on the bots, only thing i would love is a way of connecting them to the website to make life easier.
websites are FAR nicer than when amigaspide did them when they was dark/boring/miserable and hard to navigate. irc isnt as fun as in tfc days but its still a laugh from time to time.
Love tf2 and css and Love the leagues as i like competition.

6. I think it seems pretty lame until they come across me (please make sure Kop is never our face outwards...)

7. Getting around? Popping up in widely spread places, and not letting Kop put on a CiC tag so as not to make people run in the opposite direction.

8. Seems pretty good now, it's hard enough to get the CSS servers filled as it is. Won't give an opinion on the TF2 side since it's gay.

9. I contribute as much as I can, with my awesome social skills and wit. And sexy voice, of course.

1. the people in it and the fact that we don't have to be ingame to have fun and talk to each other, like most clans need to
2. the mere thought that one day there will be nothing to moan about, and stuff to moan about keeps decreasing ... i like to randomly moan about minor things
3. Personally i think the website could be better, or well, more simplified, which'll appeal to a community

5. every day when i come back from work or whatever. basically if i'm at my computer, i'll jump ontop vent, even if no one is here . need more ppl to do that
6. Much better now that sweaper left tbh, as i remember he'd always have a dig at the new tf2 members as soon as they joined vent. and he always sounded serious, and we are just lucky that no one took him seriously tbh, otherwise we wouldn't have half the ppl we have now.
7. dunno about css side, but on TF2 side, keeping the server full, and while full, post in chat for ppl to add the server to their favourites, and come back tomorrow.... i've noticed a few ppl who have rejoined the following day after i started posting stuff like that. I also think a better website would work wonders and also other side projects to raise our awareness, like me doing my map for example
8. We perhaps have too many for the amount of people we have in the clan/community and should only think of increasing the amount of servers if we can increase numbers to cover them and fill servers regular, as numbers will always decide how many servers we have.
9. think i have shown already how much time i'm willing to put into the clan, and well, i maybe been putting to much into the clan
10. think i have basically covered this question in the above answers, though about fun nights, they would be nice, though i think fun nights are taking a back seat in priority atm, since we always tend to just try and fill servers atm, and not do any planned stuff along those lines.

I have not exactly been here long so I cant really comment on much!

However in my opinion I think the website could do with a modern touch. The navigation is quite small and the colours are quite dark.

As a new member I can say kop has made me feel perfectly welcome!

To note MQ is on about the css webby which HASN'T be updated like the tf2 1 so is abit hard to navigate compared to tf2 site

EDIT maybe the css webby needs the same touches that the tf2 site had

only been with the clan for a short time but it is a good fun place to be if we are messing around on the public servers or in a match

would not say there was anything i don't like but as with most community page you become just another name on a large list.

not really been here long enough to say what could be improved.but maybe some kinda fun night e.g. cic community players vs clan

not sure how long been here now a couple of months or so I guess

I try to get on vent most nights and as a result normally end up on server

I found cic clan to be open and friendly

no idea other than fun nights or some kinda community event

maybe some single map server

for me money is tight but what I do have time so am willing to-do what I can to help

1. I think I have been heard saying it many a time - I like CiC in general and the people in it. I like the people, the fun we have, and just the general way of the community.

Nah but seriously, I think the only improvement I would like is what is in the works anyway - and that is the match management via IRC and Site, and a more generic login for the site

4. To be honest, they say time flies when you are having fun - and I do believe it has flown by. Not sure how long I've been here!

5. I get on when possible - I'm on most days at some point.

6. Well I was new not really that long ago - and I always thought CiC seemed a fun Clan and a good group of people.
