  • SARGE AI and SAR AI Missions have now been replaced with EMS(Epoch mission System) and DZAI due to lack of support. Currently DZAI is the most widely compatible with our current mod setup.
    EMS now has 26 different dynamic spawning missions, and hopefully the AI and loot drops will perform correctly. This has been a pretty sizeable update, so please report any issue if you find any.
    Have now added a custom loadout config in preparation for a potential new donators area with special traders and perks

  • OK finally, managed to remedy the overpowered LAV/Jackal issue with missions;
    Missions can now spawn with a couple of AI units carrying anti-armour weapons. These can and WILL destroy armoured vehicles. The launchers they carry will despawn upon restart if looted.
    Both the LAV and Jackal have been removed from the Hero/Bandit traders with a view to adding them to a donators vendor for people who wish to support the servers upkeep. This vendor will sell items not found elsewhere, but without being so overpowered it becomes a "pay to win" situation.
    The existing LAVs can remain with their owners for the time being, although if they are destroyed, you'll need to be a donator to replace them.

Kingy lost his LAV last night and found it was destroyed on the 1st shot so this may be a little over powered.

My LAV was destroyed after restart 01.01.2014 8:00 gmt.
At 01.01.2014 7:40 It was damaged but can move.
I find it at 01.01.2014 8:15 gmt totally destroyed.
Forcing to donate?

not forcing VanNeste, we was going to remove the LAV from our server due to it being overpowered, but servers cost money so its a nice perk to have for people that want to donate and help keep the server running

definitely not forcing to donate and if we find out someone has been going round destroying vehicles they will be banned as we do not remove vehicles unless they are blocking important places like traders, so it wasnt us

It's good to hear the feedback on this. It was an important issue to fix, and one that had no real easy solution. Since implementing the missions and the armoured vehicles, it had never been working as intended. Now, it's a lot closer to how I planned it. The missions were never meant to be easy, and using the LAV to just roll in and grab as much loot as possible without any fear whatsoever was an issue that only a couple of people ever highlighted...everyone else seemed happy to exploit it.

Forcing to donate is a bit silly really...as Ned and Kop have said, it's an option and not a requirement. You don't have to donate, and you don't have to have any of the donators perks (which haven't been decided yet).

I'm open to suggestions about how to tweak things, but I do know that even now the missions are doable with or without vehicles. You just have to take out your high priority targets first (the guys with the launchers). My biggest concern at the moment is what happens if a mission spawns beside a trader zone.

EDIT - To combat the latter, I've reduced the range at which an AI Unit can spot a player. This should help with AI near Stary (since no other traders seem to be affected), and also increased the range of different weapons these "rocket boys" can spawn with. So it's entirely possible to NOT have an RPG in a mission....you just dont know ;)

  • MTVR correctly added to towing/towable lists
    Some newly added cargo truck prices were not updated. Now fixed.
    Added AK107 PSO, AK107 Kobra and AKS74 PSO to Black Market Vendor
    Drop rate for Chainsaws on missions has been reduced
    Respawn rate for AI at strongholds has been increased to min 1hr, max 2hrs
