i think 3feet is due to the drifting in the wind like they said it would.
we had about 3 inches then about 2 more and where it drifted its about a foot deep, tho it did manage to make the local hills unpassable

This sucks, so east west north and south of us all have snow, everywhere except us

Its just caused a lot of chaos with roads, schools etc....though it is good fun to try and wade through snow thats up to your knees....A foot of snow maybe then

where in nottingham they live? i live in a village thats about 3miles in diameter, and as a result we do get that salt/grit stuff and not much vehicles coming through, so it gets much deeper in spots. the roads was like 3inch of ice and people took to using the roads instead of pavements, and so it's all built up high :S
some of the news places are saying notts was one of the worst hit places last night, and we got more on the way tonight

. yesterday it was constant heavy snow, but not been so bad today
mostly annoying cos i can get into work when everyone else gets snowed in. but i have a nice 5 day weekend coming this weekend, and i got out of having to travel to donny tomorrow for a training thing cos my car's completely covered and also the M1's closed off

about 6mm here. keep it like that I say. Working outside for the last couple of days in the cold was bad enough without snow.
