i also dled the following packs

apparently each player needs about 60kbits/sec and i have 3072 so can run server on my connection or someone else can as i was going to host on my server boxes at wireplay for the night but it doesnt have a linux server binary.

it should work with CS or TFC. Also i think they made it similar to how Source Mods work, where you don't need to own the retail game anymore, but you should defo be able to play it so long as you have a HL1 based game.

i just made a nice server for Zombie Panic! Source which you can search for in the steam store and play for free.
I hope it will be on the Friday night game list soon but you can test it out here:

always only had tfc as the hl1 mod on this pc and tried that dl b4 and didnt work, soz, will have to play without me again

The good thing about ZPS is that it is still going, the visual are improving, the gameplay is improving, it is constantly being improved and worked on, which keeps a community active and a game active. Since I quit the PT/Mapping team, it has come on so well. Definitely something to see on a Friday night!
