I got 3 people who didn't want to paly the quiz to play, we had alot of fun and even ned had to enjoy our antics. although we were prticipating we never intended to contest for the win as we didnt particually care who won (haley or george...) .There is no way to verify that people do not "google" for answers and end of the day who cares if they do? If you are that obsessed with winning then boo-hoo
the fact i siad it overtly into a chat taht ned could see and we still proceeded to miss 90% of the answers...

No-one that was playing had a problem with them working together, and I think we can all agree that it was such a laugh at times listening to the crap that was coming from them on mic, so we were only guessing how funny it was in chat. Now Ned has shown us that it was chaos
Hopefully we will get another one organised soon, and we can get a record number of people involved and have a right good night...!!

considering during the songs they were fighting louder than mumble and spamming each other in the chat, i think siege + thal + zah + balloon = just less than a normal human being.
they had an IQ all the way into double figures for once.
Good fun and tbh who cares how we play this as long as its fun and people turn up.
My quiz, my rules. If anyone would like to hold a quiz i would be only too glad to help wih any technical stuff as it would be nice for others to step up once in a while as it takes me hours for a normal quiz and the xmas quiz took several weeks of planning and editing.
But the quiz was like Kop's arse - a good time had by all!

you do realise that sounds like you like kops arse and have good times with it.

but anyway, so long as it's fun at the end of the day, just i only brought it up because it seems pointless having scores if there's that few people anyway and then it becomes more like one of ned's archived quizes that he's recorded and played back for people to listen to and just play again for fun, like i believe me, balloon and rainman did one back in the days of vent with TV themes n stuff.

For me, the competitive aspect of it, whether you get zero points or max points, makes it that little bit more fun and is a bigger testiment to the hard work ned puts into making them. and you can't really say you wouldn't have had a laugh on mumble whether or not you were solo or in a team. Plus for me, whenever I'm at a pub quiz, i always hate it when people get the mobile phones out to cheat and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

Anyway, please don't take my comments as a moan or complaint, since i wasn't there i can only comment on the night from an objective point of view... either that or i could just never post on the forums and let threads die off

In my opinion it was a great laugh. I wasnt too fussed on the whole team up thing i was just laughing at the crap they were all coming out with. Besides george and hayley were the main winners throughout it.
I thought id make up the points by singing for all my worth through the take that song plus another couple.

The three retards + Zah is what made the quiz worthwhile and of course the hardwork that went into it from NEd and again thankyou so much for an enjoyable night.
