jarate was very likely an aprils fool joke , but if anything is worthy of a stun effect, it's that.

they claim it's a big update as well, so maybe it'll make up for the lack of official content that was shipped with the scout update. scout update was poor imo so hopefully the new additions will make up for that. there's supposed to be an update before this as well for improvements to all classes. Hopefully the medic will have a half decent firing gun and not a spray effect similar to the heavy :/, also maybe they'll make it so close range damage isn't weak as hell.

anyway, if any class could wait until last because they didn't really need weapon upgrades, since their weapons are pretty much exactly what the class requires, then it's the sniper.

personally i'd have liked to see the spy update next. it's the only class that hasn't had some themed style thing for it, like a class update, or "Meet the..." video, every other class has had something. hopefully this time they'll do a meet the spy video to make up for that.

I also think they should release this update sooner rather than later, because the scout update missed alot of stuff, like it was unfinished (eg, that official map that was left out but appeared in a screenshot), but because there's a L4D content update at the end of the month, you know they'll wait for that first, then wait another month or so, and then release it. Pointless of them letting us know about it now
