very nice mate, looks alot like a DAX Rush, my mate is building one with a kawasaki 1100 bike lump in it.
he got the chassis ready built, you got some guts making yours yourself from scratch, do you have plans to follow??

"a little something" if that's little I want to see something you call "big".

Looks cool, how long did it take to put together?

Its a Lotus 7 replica for which i had the chassis plans which you can download for free from mcsorley.net.
I did buy the fiberglass body work for it, took 4 years from the first photo to getting on the road, could of done it a lot quicker but i had 2 slipped disks in my back from Judo in that time period which probably cost me 4~6 months each.
When i left school(a long time ago!) i did 2 engineering apprentiships 1 in precision engineering and another in structural engineering, so putting the chassis together was actually the simple bit!
I love the flappy paddles for changing gear and because its a bike engine you can do clutchless up shifts.
Does 0-60 in ~4 seconds too
Dax rush are awsome but expensive kits, really well engineered, i've seen a few turbo hayabusa Dax's and they are just insane 400+bhp with less than 500kg

me and my mate went to one of the kit car shows at brands hatch, they had a couple of DAX busa turbos there, absolute mental.
for my mate the dax is ideal, because while he wants to build it himself, he cant weld or do any other fabrication stuff, whilst for me i am a welder, and can do it, but just dont have the time to put to it, so i appriciate the way you did yours more, i you get me.
great project.
