Cup Draw Countdown
Tue 15 Jun 2010
Nottingham Forest will discover the identity of their Carling Cup first round opponents tomorrow.

The draw, which will be split into north and south sections, will be announced on www.nottinghamforest.co.uk at 9.30am.

Forest are among the seeds in the northern section of the draw but bizarrely neighbours Notts County are unseeded - in the southern section.

The draw for the first round of the Carling Cup will be followed at 9am on Thursday by the eagerly-awaited release of the fixtures for the 2010-11 Championship campaign.

Full details of Forest's fixture list will be available from 9am on Thursday on www.nottinghamforest.co.uk
thats like, lol, wtf??

Nottm Forest and Notts County are not in the same regional drawing of the Carling Cup????

Technically Newark is the centre of england, which is in Nottinghamshire, so if it were between the two teams, then fair enough, but nope, both teams are located in south nottingham and newark isn't between the two grounds.... infact, the two ground are next door to each other, only the River Trent separates them.

infact, if you want to get really technical, Nottingham Forest is more south than Notts County is.

in the long run it won't matter anything in regards the competition, it just makes the FA or whoever organised the cup, look really stupid
