I found a Yakkington minipet via Gift of the Traveler, which is a unique minipet...

for those that don't know, it's perhaps one of the rarest things in the game since the method of getting it means you hve to get random NPC drops and collect a few together to get 1 gift of the traveler, with a maximum of 5 gifts per account each week, and the NPC that trades the gifts switches locations each week and the things that he wants.

Plus when i got it, i was farming these creatures that are very very few and only found in one place, just about to rage quit, then it dropped and i was like... RAH!!!

so yeah it's rare

i just put it on auction for 1 gold and got 400,000 gold from it, which is a stupid amount of money cosidering you can only trade 100,000 at a time ingame.

So i well pleased . i just dicovered though that the only thing that is perhaps more expensive is the Chibi Gwen Minipet, which i have seen sold for 750,000. Someone bid 1,000,000 for it but when it came to it he couldn't cover that amount in a single trade. I know someone who has a mini Gwen like that though (looks at Emmz)

You got a a good deal for yakington there, seen them go for a lot less, but that was before everyone went minipet crazy again when the hall of monument thingy came out. The dearest ones are still the ones you won through competitions like art contests and such. A panda goes for 10's of millions, although at that price the trading is normally done with armbraces of truth which sell for about 200kish..

i'm sure you had a Gwen minipet Emmz, maybe siege stole it? cos i'm sure i remember saying it wasn't a gwen cos it was chibi-fied, but then it turned out it was and i was like, meh... this being about a year ago thou.

anyway i think the guy tried to rip me off.

i said they can pay whichever way they want, cash plus keys and/or etco's and he said cash only. which means max you can trade in one go is 100k... so he was like, "put yakkington in trade", which i thought he meant just to prove i had it, so i did and then removed it. But he wanted 100k for yakkington then give me rest after, saying the reason to do it that way is that i have no rep on GW Guru. So when i explained that i have 100% chance to be ripped off, he moaned for a while, gave me 100k and then wanted it on the second lot, saying "50% first, rest after minipet"... then moaned again at 300k :S

too much effort tbh, but so many try to scam you, so wasn't gonna take the risk

Yer sounds like a scam, i've had a few off them, once with a tormented sword I was trying to sell, he was like "let me just see if it looks good on my char and I will buy it then".............. yer ok m8! Give me the 100k and 20ectos and u can see! It is a bit stupid that you cant trade more than 100k though, hopefully it will be changed in GW2.

good that it's like that tbh though, stops scams and mistypes.... like wtf didn't notice i did 1000 plat and not 100plat.

if that happened you'd be begging for the 100k thing to be reinstalled
