disagree totally with that comment tbh, gta means stealing cars so that part cant change, but they change era's, type of ppl u use ie mafia, gangsta, Mr silent assassin, everygame so far has been different but with the same "stealing cars" aspect. i love the series and will 100% be getting this for my ps3

think you misunderstand kop. what they mean is the series does more of the same, just a different theme and improved graphics. If you like the series of games then that type of stuff is great, but what they mean is they would like to see different game mechanics which make the game something different than the previous ones, like how San Andreas had flying, body shaping, etc, compared to the earlier versions. GTA 4 was really just a graphics improvement game to show off what the PS3 could do with lighting etc.

Let's be honest it's been going down hill scicne vice city, 1+2 were silly but you could waste time on them, 3 was omfg this is mind fucking,
vc was 3 + motobikes set in the best era/local possable, san an was too much and stupid plot/people fun to dick about on but just not great anymore, 4 was a shot at being all serious and for me that was where it went wrong was a fun game but didn't feel like gta atall.
Saints row on the other took gta and raised it on the whole stupidally over worked juvinallity and it hit a field goal ^__^

GTA 1, GTA 2, Vice City. That's all you need.

I'm annoyed that gaming is now about big budgets and story telling. That's what movies are about, games should be about gaming which is what Nagash more or less summed up.

I appropriate Rockstar and its work and games so I'd be buying this game even if its does come out like a piece of shit but knowing Rockstar and GTA series they'll be just as good.

could be something epic and the trailer will be mind blowing and show game mechanics no one has ever seen before, so i'll wait and reserve judgement... but it'll be just another scenery type video to show off graphics to show how realistic the environments and cars look, and no characters or gameplay, or maybe some of that but it'll be like in the distance.
