This is my second attempt at this game.
Its not for me, i wish it was because the themes involved really appeal to me.
On the plus side its nice and atmospheric, the designs and the way the places feel is excellent.
On the bad side there's no sense that anyone's in the world bar you.
There's no sense of community,no social side to it at all.
You may run into others at quest hubs but there no need to group.
Also a big downer is the fact you can only do one quest at a time. You cant have say two quests up and running in the same area. You have to finish one and then select the next quest . Which is a killer. Even if you kill mobs for another quest in your journal they wont count to that quest. It might improve once they open up the other starting zones but i doubt it.
Also you have no sense of purpose,no identity apart from you here with this group go and kill mobs til your story progresses.
:2.5:
best i can give it.

the community in mmorpg for me is one of the main reasons to play it, even when i got a few people to play mir with me it didnt last and soon i was grinding out levels on my own for no real reason other than to do it.
hope game makers learn a bit about community side of games and start working them in

the games look is good from what i've seen, but youtube video's just put me off trying it tbh. The characters attacks looked like they had no relation to what it actually did. One that stood out was an attack where the character sweeped their arm forward in an arc motion, covering about 90 degrees in front of them. This resulted in about 8 neon pink daggers coming out of the player in a 360 degree circle. This was one attack that they kept spamming when zombies got too close. I realise that it's beta and all but this video was at a game demonstration booth at some even and was being shown off by the games makers and not played by actual players, it wasn't a good demo and you could tell the interviewer just wanted to move on to something better asap.
