since i got leon to pre-order it while he was drunk, i might as well state here that the open beta starts Aug 15th, though open beta is capped at lvl 20 and characters get deleted once the game is launched a month later.

you get on the open beta by purchasing the pre-order, which gives you a code to get ingame before launch, etc

he said the next day that he cancelled his order

he said he kept it to me, but wasn't gonna play it loads or anything. tbh, whil he was pissed, he emailed HMV loadsa abuse, so i don't see them taking it back

abuse or not it aint hard to cancel a order

all i know is the next day (when sober) he told me he was cancelling his order and looking for other dodgy shit he did

lets wait till he says if he getting it or not as only he knows

WaR is looking truely shite. If they want to take WoW's crown a company truely needs to do something which hasn't been done.

Fortunately for me I got the Beta for Lich King today

War, been playing this a while its as good as wow but not.
What it does it does well but it doesnt do enough.
Take pvp theres 4 instances per tier and 4 tiers to the top.
But only one of these instances is popular per tier.
Then theres the world pvp, which doesnt work due to the fact that everyones played WOW and are used to pvp in instanced sections.
Then the PVE is just like wow..i mean just like wow.
and the level 40 player cap is useless...i mean ive been around from the start of open beta and now ive got a lvl 39/40 empire bright wizard...like a mage or warlock in wow. And theres nothing to do.
As for warth of the lazy king....how many 80's are there on the server....most of the stuff already been done by the big guild and the little guilds cant compete.

i lvled to 80 in 3 days <3 and plenty of stuff to do...

in WAR i was lvling a black orc and i just saw that by each lvl i was getting bored and it felt repetitive
