they didn't even show the console o say how much it would retail for. though i wasn't in last night so i couldn't watch it anyway, it sounded like all it was was a 2hr sales pitch to investors/developers and a way to show off the new controller that looks exactly the same apart from it has a touch screen.

getting a console always seems pointless straight away, it's like you might as well wait until developers have time to play with it and release a few games on the console first, since they never know how hard they can push it straight away. Early games are generally just things that focus on gfx so they can show off the console before it's released and get some hype going.

they showed some good detail stuff on a real time render of some old guy that they modeled, but it's close up, so who cares about skin and eye detail like that, you won't be up that close and personal in game unless you buy some type of extreme makeover type game.

Personally i'm keeping an eye out for that Oculus Rift machine. It'll probably cost the same as a PS4 but its for PC and looks awesome :D

Well maybe they were trying to do the whole enticement thing by not going anything away, that or it was like, oh shit better do something!
Also added that share button , not you can get friends to play your game for you!(at least that what one interview hinted at) so you don't even need to play the damn thing yourself win win ;D

same as pc for yeats thou... use that remote connection thing. on pc it just depends on your connection speed whether you get a decent connection while taking over. There's a few websites out there that make it easy to do as well but it's usually used by IT Support Hotlines because it's pointless in any other situation. Only alternative is if they are forcing developers to program it into games that they have to enable single player to be multiplayer, so that they take over the game that way. can't see developers doing that because if it was a good idea, it would have happened on PC years ago... meh, HL1 was coop if you knew how to change maps on multiplayer so if you stood around while someone completed the map for you, then it's the same deal i guess, just done in a very crude way.

only reason they've done all this is because the new xbox is due out in the summer, so spring time will be loads of marketing and publicity for xbox, so PS4 is just like... look at us, we're still here!!!

used to use netmeeting for it back in the day but could only do tiny resolutions and the frame rate was shit, 512k/256k ftw
