I was expecting more from this but i supposed we have got used to huge budget LOTR type affairs. It isnt terrible, it just isnt great but it is watchable and the only thing other than the obvious cheapness of it to dislike is the stupid voice Jeff Bridges decided to use.
Watch if bored but don't think it will be the highlight of your week

i had a bad copy of this so i decided to leave it alone until a good version came out... not seen it yet though as i watched like the first 5-10 mins and it just seemed poor. I will eventually watch it but the plot just seems like an excuse to have effects all over the place.... it's like they wanted to make a computer game and wanted to fit all these boss battles in, but they only had 90mins to do it.
I think Jeff Bridges is a great actor but he plays this same character in a lot of films, the old man who everything thinks is weak but is actually really aggressive and strong.... always has long hair and a big beard. It's like, come up with somethimng new already.... it was shit in RIPD and it'll be shit here (when i finish watching it).
