As far as I know, Darkfall was nicknamed "Darkfail" due to how it's developers pushed over skilled abilities making everything an enormous cluster fuck and outraging some veteran players.
Darkfall closed and was acquired by two separate development companies. (Ub3rGames & Big Picture Games). Both teams are developing rival games on the same engine, of which Big Picture Games has released Darkfall: Rise of Agon to the public with a subscription requirement. It's not P2W or F2P, yet.
The game is growing and if you're waiting for Ashes of Creation supposedly this is like "it" (on a Quake looking engine). Client is free but to play, it's subscription based.

Re: Darkfall: Rise of Agon
I was so close to trying out Darkfall a few times now, but I always get turned off by something. I like the idea of the game, but I think it was executed so poorly.Direkneed wrote: ↑Sat May 13, 2017 1:41 pm As far as I know, Darkfall was nicknamed "Darkfail" due to how it's developers should have tried these weight loss pills for men and pushed over skilled abilities making everything an enormous cluster fuck and outraging some veteran players.
