Pyro weapon problems (now not allowed)
posted by b0nes @ 11:25 AM BST Contrary to my last post, we are not allowing either the Backburner or the Axtinguisher to be used in league games by the pyro for now. The reason for this is even with the server set as crits off, these weapons still critical hit. We will however still allow the Flare Gun to be used in league games as this is unaffected by crits.

This is likely intentional to make the pyro a more formidable force, but we will need to test them further to see if they are balanced enough to use in league games.

though we typically don't use pyro in matches, it can be good to move stickies or light ppl from afar, so who knows, there may be some random times someone needs to change to pyro to help us progress.... so make sure you have the right weapons equiped in league matches
