Div 2 thing was awesome, but yeah it got a bit hardcore and when your involved in the first team you sometimes forget the people who feel left out and neglected. Every game is the same. I had it on WoW a bit for raiding teams and it sucks! But the good thing is we have so many people still keeping in touch after all this time, so that says something about this place And although he will never admit it, it's because of ned and the fact he was open to new, fresh players (he likes them fresh!!) and bridging the gap and keeping the old fossils involved as much as possible. Difficult task which most fail at tbh and as ned said some don't have the time to put in online as things evolve in life but you can still come on and have a laugh and feel part of something!

Sorry for the thread resurrection, but I figured I should say hi too - been too long! I moved to Sydney 4 months ago, after meeting an Australian girl who was over in the UK - she's great, and let me come back home with her. Her mistake! Sadly, this will mean that any meetup games will need to be played at a neutral location... Los Angeles tends to work well I also sold my soul to the financial services world...

Gaming wise I'm pretty much exclusively xbox (Skyrim/Mass Effect 3) just now - jimdangereux if you want to add me, generally don't have it connected to live though. PC isn't really up to scratch at the moment, although I can still play TF2/CSS, and still crack out the occasional game of Civ 4 (best civ). Might upgrade soon, but gaming time is not quite what it was, and I can't really justify a huge outlay for a gaming PC, not when I have the xbox!

Funny to think about a lot of the memories, we had some good times, some success (at the cost of our souls!) but mainly - good friends. Great to hear everyone's still going good!

Had a bit of a trip down memory lane yesterday - had a look at some of our results/reports on http://uktfcl.far2cool.com/ - it's crazy to think how into it we all were. We/I definitely took it too seriously for a while, it was kinda fun to be good though...

As for my brothers:

Stealthy lives in London now, working as a developer for a creative media team. He played TF2, was rather good, played competitively too with some success.

Not sure how many will remember Skeebz (now known as Fishbus), who also lives in London. He made cp_steel, and got hired by a game company called Splash Damage who he still works for.

I am so tempted to fire up TFC right now!
