Stealing

Hi guys,

There seems to be more and more stealing on the server. Just yesterday around 20:00 UK time, I had another praga heli stolen. Some of the new people that joined just don't seem to care about the server rules, which is also one of the reasons why I am playing on the server. I know that not having the BEC messages might have something to do with it, but most are not able to read english anyway. I would like to see more banning for this to calm the spirits a bit, as I am sure the people that are stealing feel pretty safe at the moment so they will continue or even increase their activity.

I whole heartedly disagree with banning as a solution - it's a resolution I consistently argue against on mumble as it has the biggest disregard for proof and highest collateral.

Reinstating the BEC messages would be a great help. Additionally if there are lots of players who do not understand English I would ask you to inform us of what languages they speak and we can include these in to the BEC system and server rules thread on the forum.

I'm not a big believer in the limiting of the game parameters, however banning is not the solution and communication is the key.

Furthermore to add, if you have any concrete and substantial suspicion please private message me of location (co-ordinates or description with nearest town are fine) and there can be an investigation in to a claim.

Thanks for the swift reply! I am not a believer either, but as it just so happens a player by the name of Komisar Jebern killed my friend crushingviolet in our base as he was in there to steal again. I get whee you are coming from, but I don't think that players such as him deserve another second on the server.

Its really annoying that I walked out of my base to see someone had just landed and then I got killed. This is the second time I was at my base when something like this happened. Now my door is open and I'm sure all my good items will be gone. Where is the justice in that?

If u have certain proof that they have stolen they will be banned, i will try to sort it at some point today tho, been a lil inactive on it recently due to personal issues and kingy is working shit shifts at work atm so cant police it at regular hours. thx for the info, will talk to u more on server later

Thanks for replying. Define proof? Zoul was next to me when it happened as well as another player. We work together and sit in the same area. Since you are considering Zoul for an admin is that proof enough? If that isn't enough what do we need to collect as proof?

well it will be proof enuff soon lol, not sure if screenies are available yet. hopefully new upcoming update will help with stuff like this
