TV Review: Big Bang Theory

Post by red_ned »

Genre: comedy
http://eztv.it/shows/23/the-big-bang-theory/
A comedy based on supre nerds and a cute girl.
Two brilliant theoretical physicists, who thought they new everything about life, meet a woman who shows them how little they actually know about real life.
I find this fun and like to see some sexual tension comedy along with super nerds perspective on life.

3.5 stars - really watchable
4 Seaons available from USA, currently on break in US

watched a few random episodes and just seemed very "meh". Soooo much full of themselves americans in a nerd setting, and when they can't think of a joke they'll say something like "oh it's just like imogen the thirds grand battle of the tiberian master fleet when general moshi defeated the pilogs"... something obscure and random thats very likely made up, but they put a laughter track over the top of it so your meant to think "oh lol nerd joke, i'll laugh cos i don't understand the reference but if i did understand it it would be much funnier" :/

probably not watched enough of it to have a proper opinion of it, but over the 3 episodes i did watch i give it a :-4.5: and not full 5 red stars because it did do the odd joke that i found funny... but not enough to make me want to suffer more episodes of it.

Enjoyed some S4/S5, went back and watched them all. It's definately evolved over the series' the 'storylines' now are much more relationship oriented.

I heard someone say it's basically a modern version of 'friends' which I would say is fairly apt.

Its awesome! Well worth the watch even if its just for penny :) I cringed when the world of warcraft episode was on! Surely I don't look/sound like that at home when playing. Will have to get the missus to film me whilst I pwn nubs!

I'm up to season 7 now I think.
Whatever the latest one is

Bawwy Kwipkee is the best character, followed by Dour Stuart
