Just some play mechanics to remember while playing
1. Backpacks with stuff in put into vehicles - backpack will empty on server restart and this is a game side thing not a bug as it is supposed to happen.
2. After towing or lifting a vehicle you must get in it to sell to trader, also if you are keeping it then you must get into any towed vehicle or it could move back to where you started to tow it. This is a kind of bug with the towing script but we cannot do anything about it.
Will add to list as i remember stuff

Re: Players FAQ
Black screen or Logon screen jams and you can hear noise but it doesnt join - this worked for me:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA\MPMissionsCache and delete both files (if there is two) then retry
You can also try - go into steam library, right click properties of AOA, go on local files tab and hit verify integrity of games cache

Re: Players FAQ
Battleye fails to update. Common issue and there are 2 ways to fix.
1. close steam down and run it in administrator mode, rejoin a server and wait on the player list screen for it to update.
2. Download and install battleye from fresh - following stolen from http://steamcommunity.com/app/221100/di ... 116589967/

Re: Players FAQ
Cant see direct chat?
possible fix:
also if its voice - sett up ports 2302-2306 in port forwarding on your router/firewall

http://www.dayzrp.com/t-if-you-can-t-he ... local-chat
possible fix:
Code: Select all
go to Options > Controls and scroll down until you see the options for voice channels and Push-To-Talk. Normally, you can rotate your chat channel back and forth by pressing the , and . keys. But since the only channel you need in DayZ is Direct, I don’t bother with the rest – it’s too clumsy. What you’ll probably want to do is remove the keybind for “Push-To-Talk” (which will talk over your currently-selected chat channel) and instead bind that key to “Talk on Direct Communications”

Re: Players FAQ
BTR repair - you need to repair ALL the wheels to make it fully repair the body, it will explode if it is too damaged.
The LAV25 also works like this

Re: Players FAQ
For some reason sometimes you cant get in..
There is a suggestion that when you get to players screen that you actually select an empty player slot from the left side before joining as sometimes it cannot allocate a space, especially just after a restart when lots of people are attempting to connect.
Also waiting a minute in the player screen can help with Battleye errors.
