I really don't get this trend of taking an idea, then making it worse so it works on peoples bloody phones and iKindlePads.
I loved my days on the Amiga, but I don't wanna return to them!

i think it was mainly just a fan game that was only meant to be on PC like a fun little 2D game to pass the time... then Bohemia was all like..."OMG ANOTHER GAME WE DIDN'T WORK ON BUT CAN TAKE CREDIT FOR!!!!!!!!"... so supported it and made it official ... so mobile versions and such
