weird, it won't manually add to favs but you have to update all servers and filter the game to find it. Appears it won't go in the main server list ingame because it has special characters in the server name that don't show up ingame, same with many servers since there's like 5000 servers yet ingame only a very small fraction of that shows up.

will probably leave this game for a while until they improve it more. I'm glad i got it at a discount while it's on sale however there's quite a few bugs that make the game unplayable if you hit them.... not to mention the shitty FPS.

One bug i had was when i spawned and a Raptor spotted me almost straight away.... not bad thing in itself, it's a survival game after all, however it is bad when the Raptors lag and warp through you and then warp back. Every couple seconds they would warp somewhere around you making it impossible to escape, while they still do damage to you. Fighting them is impossible for the same reasons. I even went in the water to escape but it already latched on to me..... oh and did i mention that when it warps your fps drops dramatically and it causes you to lag. Anyway, the only thing i could do was to swim underwater to the deepest part and it eventually disappeared.... trouble is now that when you start swimming under water, you can't swim to the surface... so unless your next to the edge of the water, ur dead.

Everything else is great, i like the crafting, i like the island and exploration.... it's just a little too obvious that they concentrated too much on making it look pretty and not enough on making the game work as intended... early access yes.... rushed early access? definately

Yea definitely early access, but it's way more 'developed' and complete than a lot of other early access games are at present. The lag/warping may not be so evident on the official servers....not sure, haven't tried them, but this server runs on a players machine.

Swimming...you certainly can swim up if you press space.

The shitty FPS, the game is far from optimized so far, and needs to be ran on medium or low settings with the bells and whistles like post processing and shadows turned right down or off. It barely looks any different and runs a lot smoother on those settings.

The thing I do like about this game, is that it's getting nearly daily updates adding cool stuff that just works, unlike some other survival games I could mention that require 20 patches to fix what they broke when they added in one stupid pointless object.

yeah i could swim up by pressing space... i couldn't surface though. i was trapped underwater drowning unless i got close enough to land that i could walk out.

i do like the developers attitude towards the game though. like you say, daily updates and giving the fans what they want, not just a big christmas present thats broken when you open it and then excuses why they tried to palm it off on to you.

can see this being a big game and will enjoy playing it when it's more developed and less early release.... tbh mainly got it as an early release as it was discounted. Thing i find about early release stuff is that they rarely drop in price, the good ones tend to go up in price if anything.

i got 200 + hours in ark so far and if seems pretty awesome , although if your going pve only its abit boring , need to raid on a pvp server for fun at higher lvl , btw nagash if you run out of stamina while swimming you will find it very difficult to surface unless your very close to the land that might have been your problem but swimming seems fine to me.

yeah it was likely stamina related, but my point still holds as there was no indication why i couldn't swim. Now there is a thing in the game that says you are unable to jump (not swim thou) due to low stamina, previously there was nothing like that, so i guess many people moaned about it to the devs

our community usually tends to be very PvE focused, tried to change things up for Epoch but that didn't go down to well

anyway we have an ark server now and a section on the forums for it. On the server browser just type "cic" and it'll pop up but i'll make a proper news post on this site about it this weekend/tonight
