Clan Help

I am starting a new clan and making a new forum. I will soon be buying a domain at the moment it is currently www.legionofdarkness.freeforums.org. So I was just asking for some advice of what to do. I want to make the forum the best I can and if you have any suggestions to improve on it then feel free to tell me

As far as the website goes I am not sure which website host I should start with. I like vbulletin but it costs £60 a year and thats a bit much for the clan at the moment. In your opinion what do you thinks the best cheap forum host I should use?

Also if you have any tips about making a new clan successful and active please tell me. At the moment my main goal to achieve is getting my forum active. I know this clan started 9 years ago and has been successful ever since that it was I am asking

Currently we are hosted by streamline.net who provides unlimited everything and domain for £60 year.
I have just done a deal to move cic to fractix.co.uk for an incredible deal. George has had some dealing with them before and the price means its worth a go (ask me for details).
Vbulletin isnt worth 60 quid compared to phpbb3 which is free.
Website templates are easy to find, have a look at one i was testing at http://cic-clan.com/ned/
theres loads of them out there like the one BPK is looking at http://cic-clan.com/bpk/
the cic ones were also free but hacked around to make what we wanted work in them (links on page)
i dont see any reason to really pay for anything other than host/domain.
