if you don't know, Robbie Savage is a Derby County player, and he tries to get in the media every chance he gets, he's trying to force himself into a pundit job and every little minor thing that happens, he's there to shove him arse in and talk shit. here in this interview he's had on BBC Radio Derby, he was merely asked why Derby County are inconsistant in the league and then rages about a simple rumour said on the radio ages ago and doesn't allow the interviewer to talk back.

he's the biggest dick there is in football... well there might be a few others that are bigger idiots than this guy... he started a punch up at Derby vs Forest early in the season and then slated Forest for it in the papers and tv and didn't get punished for it due to his connections. and now he's thinking Derby have a great fan base at matches because they sell out almost every home match.... but forgets that Derby County give away free season tickets, and then at home cup matches, no one buys a ticket.

yup, they get free season tickets. Derby fans will tell you that there is a catch to it, which is basically to take out a mobile phone contract, which is a bog standard contact that cost no more or less than a normal one for one of the usual networks (i forget which one), and you still get all your perks, like free messages and whatever, but you get the added bonus of a Derby County season ticket, worth about 1p or £400 pound, depending on your perspective

so yeah, it's technically not free to the season ticket holder, but who doesn't have a mobile phone these days, maybe everyone doesn't have contracts (like myself) but for those who do, you've just scored a free season ticket by doing nothing. I think they also have a system that kids can request a free ticket if it's booked in by an adult. They also do american style free gift days, like free hat or whatever day, so people are actually making a profit by going there. and people wonder why fans boo just about everything at the match.

I know i'm a forest fan and i'm practically pre-programmed to hate everything Derby County related, but they are enough to make any football fan rage at the moment, just because of how full of themselves that they are, even though they were relegation contenders little more than a week ago, they get praise from tv pundits making them sound like promotion candidates, and it's mainly thanks to Savage... for some reason most, if not all, the tv stations want him as a pundit, so they are sucking up to Derby County

i think that idea is great if they can afford it, fact is the more fans u have the better chance u got of winning due to atmosphere, i have been to many empty grounds and it sucks, and they are empty coz ppl dont wanna pay to watch unknown or shit players, i have no real opinion on derby itself but i think that is a great idea

yup, no doubt it's a great idea for those who can afford it, but Derby is in massive debt and they have american owners who are in it purely for the money, and they've been forcing Derby to reduce the wage bill and get rid of decent players. only reason they have good players in the team at the moment is because it's people who have been injured all season and have just come back to full fitness, and Derby may actually win a few more and finish mid table as a result, but come the end of the season, their best players will be sold off for profit to save the club.

thats all kinda what Savage was on about. He was raging about reducing wage bill, while the picture showed him in a flash car , and the rumours the interviewer heard about was a result of the derby directors shit management of the club... and Savage wants to find the leak cos it's apprently his dressing room it's all happening in and he's annoyed some players are unhappy
