on the PS3 it's being released on the 18th... dunno about on PC or for Europe for that matter but i assume it'll be more or less the same date.

Anyone else getting this game? I believe Greg and Ned has it's pre-ordered like myself. Basically, it's L4D with a Heist Movie theme instead of Zombie Movie. It's also made by the original creators of L4D... the ones before Valve signed it up.

It's Coop only, no versus yet, but versus doesn't sound like it'll make much sense in the L4D way for this game. So yeah, 4 player coop, and it looks really interesting. Has Heists similar to ones found in the films Heat, Die Hard and some other films. Can take people hostage and exchange them for captured players and also has an RPG style leveling up system for weapons, though you can choose your prefered upgrades, so when they're available, u auto equip them instead of messing around with stuff.

Will be a good game to kill time and play in a coop type way... so who's getting it?

bit of a play throu someone did for a review.

I dunno why they didn't do this in partnership with Valve and went with SOE instead :S, i mean this is something valve could help them market way better, plus on Twitter they are already saying they are working on doing replacement masks for the main characters... if valve don't know about selling a game based on hats, who does

I've only played single player so far and only tried the bank heist map and have enjoyed the game so far.

I like how each different map has it's own levels of difficulty. Where some maps you can do on easy to hard, some you can only do on hard to overkill, etc. I also like how you have the option to do it without bot ai, or with them. adds that extra level of difficults, cos once your tazed, your pretty much out of it.

I like how bots fan out and don't just stick to where you are like glue, but then again this can be a bit of a bad thing in certain situations. Like they might not come to your aid while your down far away or being tazed somewhere. Though tbh you could see this as quite realistic, cos you should really move with the team and make sure they are with you... i'm sure if you were playing with random people, they would leave you to die if you ran off as well. The bot ai could use tweaking though. I got to a bit in the game where the guy on your comms says that it'll be constant invasions by police so you should leg it... so i did, but my bot team didn't, instead they stayed to kill some cops and defend the entrance, while i got tazed in the distance :S. The games meant to be played with human players though, so it'll be a much different game with real people.

I didn't like how there isn't really an obvious way to see how you upgrade ad such when starting out. I'm sure when i've gained more reputation that stuff will unlock, but at the moment it's just a whole load of grayed out stuff with no obvious way to find out what to do to unlock it besides just playin the game and hoping for the best.

So far i really like this game and sounds like they'll be updating it lots and providing alot of DLC, so should have alot of replayablility
