Always thought Derek Acorah was a dick, for no other reason otehr than his TV personality... if he wants to try and make a living off being a TV psychic then fair play to him, if we could make a living that way i'm sure we would, but when he does stuff like he has done just recently, it proves to me that i was right in thinking he's a dick.

In summary... he didn't go to investigate Madeleine McCann's disappearence because Sam, his spirit that guides him through the spirit world, told him that she his dead... which he felt the need to pass on to her parents.

if it's a program like most haunted where it's seen as a bit of good entertainment, i can understand that, but when they are trying to sincerely convince people it's the truth, then yeah, ban the lot of them as it is fraud

she might not be dead though, loads of stuff like kidnapping kids to sell to people who want kids of certain types goes off.

last thing you do though is tell the parents that their kid is dead, whether they've been missing for years or not.

dunno why he just doesn't admit the real reason he didn't go... because other so called psychics beat him to it.

i think if the police decided to tell them that most likely she is dead is way different to some con artist splurting it out in the media to heighten his own public profile.
