i've locked and unstickied the previous thread that was along these lines because there have been some changes because of stuff i've found out.

Previously the Server that CiC will be on was the "Far Shiverpeaks" server, however I have just found out that this is now the unofficial Dutch/Scandanavian server... which means that your more likely to see non-english speaking people than people from the UK.

The unofficial UK server, the one where english guilds are gathering to play on is...

When you first login, please join this server so that you can play with everyone else in CiC.

Please note that guesting on other servers won't be enabled from the start, so you can't play with other people you know if you join the wrong server, however there will initially be unlimited, free of charge, homeworld server changes... just incase your n00b enough to join the wrong server

I think I joined the right server.
The server was European, started with a G and went offline 5 minutes straight after playing :p

Apparently fergusons crossing allows you to play with a player from any server for everything except WvW... i'll wait til 3am when its not full and sign up.. fear I may not play much if its constantly full though :/

Think I am in the right server. Have we set up a guild yet? I didn't get to play much at the weekend so dunno how it all works yet. Will be on tonight more to try figure it out. Super frags in game.

i'll invite you to the guild. The guild is called [TNT], Tarts and Tramps. It's the guild i'm in GW1 for and it's members pretty much have a CiC vibe to them .

Imo it's best to use their guild initially because it allows someone else to make all the mistakes . You can join as many guilds as you like, so if enough people from CiC end up getting the game eventually, I (or someone else) can make a CiC guild and people currently playing can go in both guilds, or remain in one or the other, up to them.

I might also end up making one for the website I am developing... depends if it's popular or not.

If they also bring in Alliances, like in GW1, I will tie them all up together in the same alliance... though that was only brought in with GW Factions, so I guess we'll have to wait and see if they bring it in again.
